The American Rescue Workers Mobile Food Pantry is a vital initiative aimed at bringing nutritious food directly to underserved people. With food insecurity affecting thousands of families in our region, this mobile pantry ensures that fresh and essential food items reach those who need them most. By contributing to this initiative, you become a partner in the fight against hunger.
Our Plan
In our first year, we’ll focus on serving the greater Williamsport area, specifically reaching veterans, pregnant women, and seniors—populations at high risk for food insecurity. The Mobile Food Pantry will operate three days per week, delivering fresh produce, proteins, pantry staples, and essential items to those who struggle to access traditional food pantries.
To make this possible, we will also hire a Mobile Food Pantry Manager who will oversee operations, including volunteers, coordinate orders and distributions to ensure that every visit makes an impact.

How You Can Help
We need your support to get this program on the road. Your donation will help cover food, fuel, construction costs, and the salary for our Mobile Pantry Manager.
- $35 – Provides a 3-day food supply for a veteran or senior in need.
- $50 – Fills our gas tank for one visit
- $65 – Feeds a family of four for three days.
- $100 – Helps stock the Mobile Food Pantry for a community visit.
- $175 – Supports the pantry’s outreach efforts for a week.
